SMS Privacy Policy

Last updated July 21, 2026

This policy covers the text-message programme operated by American Muckrakers PAC II. It explains what we collect when you join, how it is used, and how to leave at any time.

What we collect

How we use it

Your number is used to send the political and fundraising messages you signed up for, and to honour your opt-out requests. We use it for nothing else.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or consent record with third parties for their own marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier may charge you for messages you send or receive; see our SMS Terms.

Who processes it

Messages are delivered through Telnyx LLC, our messaging provider, and by your mobile carrier. They process your number solely to deliver messages on our behalf. Consent records are stored in our own database on servers in the United States.

Your choices

How long we keep it

We keep your number and consent record for as long as you are subscribed. If you opt out, we retain your number on a suppression list so we do not accidentally message you again — that record exists to protect you, and is not used to contact you.

Children

This programme is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect mobile numbers from minors.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will post the updated version here with a new date above.
